When I was a little kid I once experienced numbness in my hand for the first time, at that moment I happened to be holding a pointy pebble. As I was gripping the pebble it felt infinitely huge in my hand despite being miniscule in size to the point of being barely visble. The physical sensation of holding the pebble somehow gave me the vivid impression of seeing the pebble on an endless microscopic scale. Despite not having sight of the pebble, by feeling it inside of my closed palm it felt indistinguishable from me viewing it to the same extent as with my eyes via proxy of my hand. That was technically the smallest thing I ever have "seen".
