Bored. We are so, so very bored. The 21st century has bestowed upon us all we could ever want. We have high tech smartphones and smartfridges and smartcars so unbelievably advanced that the average layman could not tell you how they operate. We have factories ran by robots that manufacture anything you could possibly ask for. We have thousands upon thousands of little toys and games and movies to occupy ourselves with, and yet, we are still, so, so very bored. Do you recall, as a kid, when you only had, maybe 3 or 4 games on your console? You would sink dozens and dozens of hours into each respective one. Now, with subscription services and such, we have all the games we could ever ask for, and yet, they all sit there, collecting dust, unplayed, with 0 hours in them. constraints, and limits breed true creativity, and if you have all that you could ever want in modern America, you no longer need to really DO or THINK anything at all. We are suffocating in a constant consumption of content. The only true way to clear your cluttered creative conscious is to vomit out all you have clung onto, "all the ghosts, all the dreams, all you hold to in belief." Sometimes having less means having more.
