3DT is a place for people who believe in the network spirit to congregate and hang out and discuss things, but most importantly, build cool shit. It's a group of people rather than a "platform".
In practical terms, it's an independent community for cool people, creatives and engineers to fraternize. The UI is for style, but it's meant to be functional. Aesthetic for aesthetic's sake is cool for art projects, but 3DT is more than an art project.
