Catch Wrestling:
Pro Wrestling originated from catch as can wrestling. Unlike Greco Roman wrestling submissions are legal and based highly on pressure points. Shooting for the legs is also legal in catch wrestling while in greco you are only able to attack the upper body
Erik Paulson was one of the most famous mma fighters to use a mixture of catch bjj and judo although the Gracies did not allow him to participate in the UFC so he competed in some knock off leagues which got him banned from training in Gracie BJJ
Catch wrestling was also used to create the martial art known as shoot fighting which is a mix of sambo judo and catch. Ken Shamrock is one of the most famous legitimate shoot fighters
