Good day fellow kommandos,
I come to you with a desire of developing a healthy short wave radio circuit system structure as well as eventually something capable of transmitting 406MHz (emergency beacon) and then lower ~140MHz signals (military tracking).
So far in research its been benign on locating specific documents pertaining to actual blueprint designs...
I am a junior electrical engineer and am currently trying to find electrical blueprints via library sources but its been meh... also online sucks too, no good patents...
I think it would be important that I am capable of creating radio devices purely developed via basic means, no IC's but Id like to utilize some BJT/FET application :p
again yes my mission will take some time but I pray that the spirits allow me to transpose my journey here so that others may apply my methods.

with 0 background knowledge i made a tiny FM transmitter in an Altoids tin once. i could only get it to broadcast at 1 frequency for a few seconds, it would constantly move around. i made it with some sorta coil and a variable capacitor. ended up getting more into embedded software side since then but would like to get back into this at some pt
keep us updated on what you find, seems like a very worthwhile project
