Fashion is Psychological Warfare

Just let that sit for a second. Psychological Warfare.
It's true.
The way you dress has an impact on not just how other people see you. It affects how you think, your decision making, your perception of other people, the words you speak and the emotions you feel.
When you go outside, you are the ambassador for yourself, for your family, your ancestors, your beliefs and your religion.
So then, my friends, please dress well so you may experience maximum success in your pursuits.
But how? I don't have infinite money.
It is quite simple. The fundamentals of dressing well is not strictly wearing suits, or the most expensive clothes. The most important parts of a good outfit are the colours and the fit. It must not contain any clashing colours, nor must it be an overly baggy fit. The ideal outfit has colours that compliment each other. A light-ish blue with a darker brown. A navy paired with white. Beige and bordeaux red.
The ideal outfit also accentuates the properties of one's physique. Shirts should not make one look like a cardboard box, but rather should be formed slightly loosely around a person's figure.
The surprising element is that you can readily do this with things you may already have in your closet. Right now this may not make much sense, but as you develop a feeling for style, it will become instinctual, like a new sense.
If there are any questions, feel free to discuss.
For now, Godspeed and good luck.

I used to always dress in exclusively black jeans and poloshirts.
At first, trying new colours can be intimidating, but when you take the leap of faith and just go for it, you'll quickly get a good feeling for it.
If you need some inspiration, check this video out. With only 1 pair of pants, 2 pairs of shoes, 7 jackets and 16 shirts. He makes 108 outfits with it.
Now that may seem like a lot of clothing, but if you have only 1 pair of pants, 2 pairs of shoes, 2 jackets and 5 shirts, you can already create a ton of outfits that work.
Check out his entire channel while you're at it. He's a really cool guy and knows a lot.

Brands don't really matter.
Personally I generally prefer the slightly more expensive brands of which I know that it has been produced without child labour, though.
As Ralph Lauren said; “Fashion is not necessarily about labels. It’s not about brands. It’s about something else that comes from within you.”

track jackets, sweatshirts, hawaiian shirts, ancient jeans, tshirts for old software and Florida and the Gulf War and athletic supplies and so on, weird block coloring slacks, long outdated pairs of airmax...

Environmental context is important too.
Dont want to rock up at a funeral with hawaiian shirt.

I'd say it's less important during indoor lazy days where you're not really going anywhere. Still worth it to wear something that won't scare the family or even the mailman though, should they bring an unexpected visit. Besides, days where you don't have to present yourself in front of others are a great opportunity to go wild with mixing colours and textures. Maybe you'll find something you like that you previously thought unthinkable.

Honestly, I'm in sweats and band shirts all day when I'm at home. Can't help but feel like im nerfing myself somehow sometimes. Your idea of experimenting is a good idea, I might implement.

I'll continue in English since it's probably easier for both of us.
Yeah, I'm living in central Frisia, have since I was born. While I don't really feel much of a national 'patriotism', I would fight and die for Frisian people and soil. It often feels as if Frisia is the last bastion of sanity in the entire country.

I'm originally from the northeast of the region.
100% agreed. Mentally I compartimentalize fryslan and the netherlands as two different countries, considering the culture and overall "vibe" are very different. I feel like amsterdam-esque degeneracy isn't able to reach fryslan (hopefully it remains that way.) I dislike how to the entire world, amsterdam eclipses the rest of the country. there's more to the netherlands than dude weed lmao and hookers.
I feel more patriotic towards fryslan as opposed to the netherlands as a whole. my dutch patriotism extends to surface level things such as "yay soccer" or "yay anijsmelk" but my blood and heart remains in fryslan.
(I like to partake in the occasional MK Ultra activity, such as eurovision but the netherland's entry was very much stripped of any native national identity. shit song too btw)

Not necessarily something I take part in personally, but I can see the appeal. I've seen a lot of photos and many of them are quite cool, especially more detailed and intricate builds. My favourite cosplays tend to be Halo ones.

personally i think the cosplay looks cute but he could afford to put on some more muscle to make it look more realistic. im pretty thin so the cosplays i can do are limited by that right now.
