Try finding a federation protocol for IBs that is in dev or already exists since IB software could use more standardization
Post 989:1000 i'm just makin it baby, main thing that really existed that's close to what i'm envisioning is NNTPchan & mastodon. both of these are simply too cumbersome for an end user to engage w/ (especially for an IB).
So far the idea is that there's two types of users that would fire up an instance directly, a prospective board host for a community, or a power user pulling (and potentially archiving) posts from various servers while hosting their own.
in standardizing an IB protocol, i want to make what a "thread" & what a "post" is very loose. OP could fire up normal thread, OP could fire up real-time thread (you see what people are typing in real time), op could sync a stream for a video w/ replies as a chatbox. In this sense I think of the thread as being a lot like a game-server, OP's running whatever "gamemode" they want, boards generally decide which "gamemodes" they'll allow & if ur in ur in
i can spit out deets all day, but maybe none of this fluff really matters until a solid core is build

The most cyberpunk thing you can do, as in the dystopian meaning of the word, is watching Bl*ck M*rror on N*tflix and then talking about it on R*ddit.

working a hybrid 2d/3d animation thing with blender

That's really cool. How are you planning on integrating the two?

just using the new blender grease pencil features to overlay on top of 3d geometry relative to the render camera. fun fun!
me and fod are working on something cool

Currently brainstorming an animation. I was thinking of an animation style and I wanna use it. I wanna actually do it on my Amiga 500 with Disney Animation Studio because I'm a pedant
Always happy to discuss old computers, philology, linguistics, history, and video games.

Come over to my site. I talk about retrogaming, computing, history, linguistics, and more. Not a lot right now, but more is always coming.
