If you try Chimera to make high resolutions work and whatnot on PC the game will crash. Custom edition is a modified version of Halo PC with custom maps and is the main version people play online. It also has a few more features including IIRC better netcode, F2 for the server info, and F3 for toggling player indicators. It is the standard Halo multiplayer client. This is needed on Intel GPUs on Windows anyway since zooming in with guns is messed up. https://github.com/doitsujin/DXVK If you use wine and get the pidgen.dll error, use winetricks to install mfc42.dll. Using proton won't magically fix it, it needs that dll. The text chat/kill feed likely won't work until you install MSXML, which is in the game directory. It's in C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Games\Halo Custom Edition\redist\msxmlenu.msi. Just double click it and install it.
