You'd be best looking towards anything made by MotionGraphic Kommunities on YouTube from the early 2000s. I have a lot of playlists. Here's one for an example.

i remember on the subreddit anyone trying to crib the style too hard came off as really awful and impossible to enjoy. Sketch comedy as a whole is in a very rough spot.
I've been scrolling through my subs looking for anything I could recommend that a fan would enjoy and all I really came up with is The Minute Hour. He's more about music and audio than visuals but still does great collabs with some animators for his tracks. Check out some of his videos and if you like it definitely go through his albums, they're auditory odysseys:
